i reciently went and bought some new fishing line, i had came to my final choices, trilene xt and spider line, both in 8lb, as i was about to make my decision i noticed the yo-zuri hybred line, that stuff looked great but when it came to my budjet i couldnt justify it so i got the trilene, but i was wondering if anybody has any experience with the yo-zuri and if so what was their opinion about it, is it worth the $8.00 that they were asking?

For $8, I'm sure you are talking about spooling charges. The line is well woth the money. I buy the 6lb and 12lb. It runs around 18bucks for the 1/4 spool. The line is tough and abrasion resistant. It is realy a good salt water line but that just means that it will handle most of the structure situations that UT anglers can throw at it.

If I were still in UT, I would definetely use the Yozuri hybrid for the Eyes and even for Macks at Bear Lake. I am currently testing some samples of it on catfish. That is a decent test to perform.

I'll let you know the results when I'm done.

For me, the search for fishing line is never going to end.

Why? Cause every year they come out with tons of new lines.

Some stink, some are worth switching over to.

I used to be a berkley guy, then stren came out with some new stuff that rocked, but they got beat out in the flourocarbon race, and then along came you zuri hybrid. Originally they only had the smoke and green, but with the new clear, they should get lots more satisifed customers.

I love the clear hybrid. I had it spooled up on all my non-fireline reels, that is until stren came out with the magna flex wich is crap by the way.

So I will respool with you zuri hybrid on my "mono" reels until the next gimick line comes out at wich time i will try one of them, it may become my new favorite, or it may go the way of so many others over the years.

Would i recomend the hybrid line. oh yes, for the moment that is.
