WOW!!!..I am such a DORK,those are the first things you grab along with the plug when you take your boat out!!..Sorry no report tonight, but we did stop at LIndon boat harbor and let the kids fish for a while..had a few bites but nothing exciting. So much for hitting Deer Creek this week, will try next week after the holiday.[crazy][crazy][crazy][mad][pirate]

Man, that is always a fear of mine... Hopefully the kids took it well, if it were my kids they would have teased me the whole way home. See I remeber the keys, I just forget my fishing license. I spend way to much money on one day and seven day tags a year I should just by 3 season licenses and keep one on the boat, one in the jeep and one int he tackle box.

Too bad about the trip, we were up there last night, and fished for 4 hours, no walleye, but did catch 3 trout. Saw a couple of other guys up there that said they caught a smallie or two, but we tried for them as well and came up blank. Nails

Do what I did, Get a bot that doesnt need keys!! LOL, I keep my license with what ever I am fishing with...tackle box usually course I have had times when I go out fly fishing in the provo river tween deer creek and jordanelle and have left my license in my box...which is usually in the car anyway since if the river is not doing well, I hit one of the lakes.

I always carried a spare on my keychain and one hidden on my boat in case my son threw it overboard!

Thats the ticket, 1 spar ignition key and a spare trailer lock key are hidden the boat. The main key set is on a floating key ring.
The licence is in my wallet with the copy in a file at home. The plug is in the drivers side cup holder on the engine cover. The teflon tape is under it. There is a spare plug in the bildge.
Boats require more preperation and back-up systems to enjoy them.
