does anyone fish the canal across the street from smith and edwards? i fished it a week or two ago and i caught tons of smaller carp but nothing else, do any of you guys fish it? are there any other fish in it besides carp?

We have always wondered about that canal. My son always says do you think there are fish in there?I have never seen anyone fishing it.

When I was younger, I fished many of the canals around Weber County. All I ever caught was carp. I have caught some catfish, bluegill, and crappie on the lower Weber river, but this was years ago.

I've fished the canal several times, mostly catching carp, but there are cats in there also, one time I even caught a perch!---Licker
