Hey there guys,
The Summer season for near-shore saltwater angling is a little slow in coming this year but a number of landings have started running their twilight trips. Usually landings will start in ernest when the sand bass run has truly arrived.
This year, the calico and barracuda fishing is pretty good for a late start, so places that haven't begun these trips already will be looking at dates like June 1st to 15th as starters.
These trips run from 6 or 6:30pm to midnight. I always go on July fourth to watch the fireworks from the boat and off shore.
If I were you, I'd go early in the run to avoid the crazy crowds that grow to 90 anglers a boat!
