FIRST OFF THANKS FOR THE GREAT ADVISE WHEN I ASKED WHERE TO GO!!

WE LAUNCHED THE BOAT AT 8:00 AM AND HEADED OUT IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR US TO START CATCHING FISH.. WE TROLLED USING A FEW DIFFERNT THINGS I USED A FROG NEEDLE FISH THE BOYS USED GOLD SPOONS. WE ALL DID PRETTY GOOD THEN I TRIED A JAKES SPIN A LURE GOLD WITH RED DOTS.. WOW! THAT WAS THE TICKET.. WE FISHED UNTIL AROUND 2:00 PM CATCHING 28 AND KEEPING 12 NICE ONES. THEN THE WIND CAME UP AND THE GREAT DAY WENT BAD WE WERE TROLLING IN AND A COUPLE OF GUYS TURNED OVER THERE CANOE AND SO I HAD THE BOYS GRAB THE POLES AND WE RUSHED OVER TO HELP. ANOTHER BOAT THREW SOME JACKETS OUT AND ME AND ANOTHER GUY GOT THE CANOE BUT IN ALL THE CRAZYNESS SOMEHOW OUR STRINGER OF FISH GOT PULLED OFF.. I TOLD MY SON AND FRIEND THAT HELPING PEOPLE IS MORE IMPORTANT BUT MY SONS FRIEND STILL FELT BAD CAUSE HE WAS EXCITED TO SHOW HIS MOM HIS FISH. I TOLD HIM WE WILL JUST HAVE TO GO AGIAN.. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A GREAT TIME..

I think you guys were just pulling out when we got down to the lake. I overheard someone mention 28 fish. Congrats.

We were the one's in the motorhome with the two pontoons. We launched in the windy conditions, and didn't last too long. My wife actually got blown over to the dam and we had to go pick her up. That's the problem with sleeping late and taking forever to make breakfast. You have to put up with the windy conditions.

Was this Sunday you were fishing at S&M (6/6/04)?

We were there Fri & Sat and didn't do quite as well as you did (fishing that is).

We tried same lures as you did without luck. Finally got action using a Wooly Bugger.

Still a beautiful place.

My Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Brother-in-Law, went last saturday and fished from the shore and a green canoe.

They caught about 8 fish in the 6 hours they were there.

YES THAT WAS US.. I REMEMBER SEEING YOU GUYS UNLOADING YOUR STUFF. I WAS BETTER EARLIER IN THE DAY..

It usually is better early, before the wind picks up, or later, after the wind dies down. This trip wasn't as much about fishing as it was just spending time with the kids. I'd say it was a success.
