ME AND MY TWO BOYS GOT UP EARLY TODAY AND RAN UP TO ROCKPORT.. WE GOT ON THE WATER AROUND 8:00 IT WAS A BIT WINDY BUT WE HEADED OUT FOR THE WEST SIDE. I TROLLED WITH MY RIGGER AT 45 FT USING A FLAT FISH I HAD GOOD SUCCES MY OLDEST SON TROLLED WITH LEAD LINE AND A RAINBOW RAPALA HE DID PRETTY GOOD THEN THERE'S MY YOUNGEST SON WHO IS THE LUCKIEST DAMN FISHERMAN YOU'VE EVER MET.. THAT KID OUT FISHES ME AND ANYONE I TAKE WITH ME.. HE KNOCKED THEM DEAD WITH HIS SECERET SPOON HE ALWAYS USES.. WE LEFT AROUND 11:30 WITH 9 FISH ALL OVER 13" WE CAUGHT A FEW SMALLER ONES THAT WE LET GO. OVERALL ANOTHER GREAT DAY OF FISHING..

I went Saturday from 5:30 - 8:30 & didn't do as well from shore. Took my familiy and went with a buddies family. We had a cookout on the west side. We caught 3 nice trout the last hour and a couple of perch. Grilled the fish last night. They were excellent.
