Finally got the dust off of the toon and headed up to Causey today. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake. The fishing was a little slow, but it was worth the trip. I tested out a couple of new transducers I picked up off of ebay for cheap. They seemed to work just fine. Now I need to mount the combo (depth, temp, and speed) transducer on my toon setup. I did see a couple of fellows up there fishing tube dude style, they boated one koke and one bow in a few hours of fishing. The bite was light today, and I only boated 3 kokes and 2 bows. Hard to get the fish to stay on the line. Here is a pic with the new fishin' camera. It turned out pretty good for just testing it out.

[cool][blue]Hey, Beeman, purty pic and nice report. Looks like you didn't have to contend with "W" on that trip. That can ruin things fast.[/blue]

[#0000ff]By the way...just what is "Tube Dude Style"? I guess I shouldn't mind, as long as it catches fish.[/#0000ff]

Tube Dude Style is bouncing jigs along the bottom. I didn't get close enough to see what kind they had on, but they were light colored. Maybe I should have been a little more friendly and told them where the fish were holding. That is the advantage of sonar.

The breeze kicked up a little towards noon, but it wasn't anything to complain about. With my little electric I can deal with a little wind, since I'm not trying to hold over any fish, but if she starts to blow, I'm off the pond. I don't have the need to test out my new "inflatable" PFD.
