I remember someone posting a month or two back saying they got about thirty bows in two hours in a float tube. Theres also some browns. Check it out, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I was there Friday night and Sat june 12th there. There are a lot af 12 to 13 inch rainbows, at any given time I could see 40 to 50 rings where they were surfacing. They were gorging themselves on may flies, and were very picky about what they would take. People who were fishing with flies matching the mayflies were doing fairly well, bait fishing wsa very slow.

I'm the one that posted a few months ago. Fished from my tube and fishing was excellent for planter bows. Vernon is located 25 miles or so south of Tooele.

The road used to be maintained, and was easily accessible by car but that was a few years ago.

Heres a rough map on how to get to Vernon.
