Took the toon back up to Causey again today. Once again the fishing was a little slow. I think the Kokes are in a down cycle this year. I only boated one Koke and 5 small, Causey Special Splake.
With the recent thuderstorm activity, the reservoir is still full. It is only 1-2" below the spillway. That is nice to see for the last part of June.
I talked to a guy from Weber Basin Water checking the "wells" around the dam. They were pleased with the water levels in both Causey and Pineview, those 2 seem to be the only bright spots in the state as far as water levels go. He said that Lost Creek, Echo, and Rockport are dismal.
