My daughter and I fished the Cape Fair area this past Sat. (6/14) and had a good go of it. We started out fishing flooded brush for a couple of small fish mid morning. We then hit a point for one decent fish on a rig on the first cast and a couple of short bites. She hung in there and we made a move to another area and both of us started fishing grubs and found a few fish schooled up. They were hitting the grub on the sink and were decent size so we kept that up for most of the mid day hours. We made one more shot at the flooded brush and I managed one short for our efforts.<br><br>If you haven't been there lately you might want to check the lake level as it was way high! There was a lot of stuff under water which made parking and putting in tough. I like all the water, but wish there was a little more parking when it is up.<br><br>I hope to hit it again in a couple of weeks.<br><br>Tight lines!<br><br>
