This past sunday we hit up the Upper kern river and Lake isabella were the Kern Feeds into it. Great time to go up for some trout fishing. Gold blade rooster tails- panther martins were have the best sucess as lures go. Body color did not seem to matter much, brown to chartruse. Drifting salmon eggs really hit them well. The best spots seemed to be south of the golf course on the 155. Some descent fish wieghing up to three pounds.
