[red] Well I finally got ny first Musky today, sorry no pictures. But I did have two witnesses, MGB and Hellsangler69 wre there to witness the event. Mgb was gratious enough to let me hitch a ride this morning at Pineview for some Musky action.[/red]
[#ff0000] The action was rather slow and it didn't seem like anyone was really having much luck on anything. HA69 caught a tiny smallmouth with one eye and about a half an hour later I caught my Musky, it was about 36-38 in long Mike was trying to get his camera to work and just as he was finished the fish spit the lure. I was trolling with a J-13 Rapala in the Firetiger flavor. It didn't really slam the lure more like tugged at it. I think we were in the 10-12 foot water level, water temp was about 76 degrees. We also ran into BLM and a friend on the NE side of cemetary point, always good to see him.[/#ff0000]
[#ff0000] Anyway I had a great time on t he water with some great company. Thank you Mike and Randy .[/#ff0000]

[black]You had to catch that fish BEFORE me and Taximan followed you guys half way around the lake. I figured if I followed you guys around then we'd at least see a fish caught. We had no bites but did get a few snags and lost the lure I caught my musky on the other day. It was still a good day all in all. Glad you hooked up, Dan![/black]

Congratulations on your muskie Dan. From 11:00-7:30 I pulled my In-laws on a tube, it was my day to join the zoo at pineview plus they fixed a real nice meal. Met up with HA69 later in the day and we fished from 7:30- 9:30 with no luck. I just might give it another try tomorrow.

Sorry Skip, I forgot to put batteries in my camera, by the time I found them and turned the camera on the muskie freed him self and swam away. We will get pics for you next time.
