Hi everyone.. i just thought i would let you all know the Kitties are sure biting on the bear river. i went up there yesterday after work..4-to about 8 i got some minnows and would throw them up river with just a small amount of split shot and let them "dead drift" back down the river i would wait for it to stop and that was when "usually" a cat had grabbed ahold of it i caught about 20 in the 12 to 15in range and two that were real pigs.. i missed alot more .. i would walk along the shore line casting.. had a great time. my friend was useing worms and not haveing the success i was with a minnow. The cats seemed to be hugging the shore for some reason..
Next time i think i will use a canoe and drift along the river and let it drift behind me..

I WOULD LOVE TO TRY THE RIVER SOMEDAY I HAVE HEARD SOME GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT ANY OTHER FISH IN IT BESIDES CATS AND I AM SURE CARP!!! AND IS IT EASY TO GET TO OR IS THERE ALOT OF PRIVATE LAND AROUND IT THANKS
