This is a lake that I have never been good at fishing. Wind seems to send me home everytime. Where should I go to catch some big cuts? What are the depths of the lake & Temps during the summer? Anyone ever caught fish on dry flies there?

It's been awhile since I fished the Berry, but I used to do well there. I have a relatively small boat, so the wind was always a factor. That said, if the weather ever looked threatening, I would launch from the Renegade ramp. I found that if the wind kicked up I would end up having to cross rough water to get to the 'good' fishing areas from the other ramps. The narrow area between the Renegade ramp and the Strawberry marina, where it appears that there used to be a dike of some sort, was always a good place for large cuts. I trolled silver and black Rapala Shad Raps at 4 to 5 mph, using lead line in the summer, long lining the rest of the year. I also did well during the hot months trolling the open water out from the renegade over 40 to 60 feet of water, 4 to 5 colors out. I didn't spend too much time flyfishing there, so I can't help much.

Early mornings and late evenings are the ticket for flying the Berry. All the coves west of renegade will produce. Try the Horse Creek drainage area, you may get a big surprise if you are lucky. Think large Bows and I recomend #2 hooks. Also along Haws point south usually about 20 feet off shore. Toss your flies along the weed line for best results. Hope this helps ya get into some nice fish.
