[red]We have been foster parents for years and just adopted a 4-year old little guy this month who is a fishing fool. The training wheels just came off his bike and we go "Mountain Biking" on the Riverside trail from Rendezvous Park on Hiway 89/91 the two miles over to Willow Park, tour the zoo, feed the fish and ducks, play at the playground, and then fish at the kidz pond. The path is paved with several bridges over the Logan River and there are several little fishing holes along the way. The little pond is jam filled with little bluegills so the worm under a bober action is non-stop for the little guyz. There was a group of non-supervised older boys that had caught a small planter rainbow, jumped on it until it was mush and were using it for bait catching several 12"-14" catfish. The worm folks were just entertaining the gills, have to find something a little more legal to pick up a cat if you go. The limit is 4 fish total and it is for kids 12 and under I believe. Top the day off with a peanut butter sandwich, A&W rootbeer, a TWinkie, and a Smile you can see heaven through. It don't get much better than this. [/red]

Congratulations on the new son, sounds like he's going to be a great fishing partner. Keep training him right to be a fisherman and you'll have many more great memories like the one you just described. WH2
