That was an interesting read. I haven't fished Lost Creek during the summer for a couple of years because of the water level. It is my favorite place to icefish though. I wonder what your entry fee pays for. I know that a few years ago when it was closed they were supposed to up grade the boat ramp and do something about camping sites. I think if they did that they would have alot more people fishing it and paying the fee's.
It seems that it is the same everywhere a few people ruin it for everyone. Partying and leaving garbage behind.
It would br great to have the road plowed during the winter, I think alot more people ice fish it than anything.I wouldn't mind paying the fee in the winter time if we could get to the dam easier.

It seems that all of the closure talk has really picked up since they put the guard shack in and drained it to repair the damn.

[red] You know there was a lot of talk that who ever was runnimg Lost Creek area was going to put in a new boat ramp and improve the camp sites and nothing was ever done . I have to agree that I would not mind paying a fee in the winter to ice fish if they would find a way to keep the road accessable.[/red]

Thanks for the info Paul. I hope Morgan County can find the funds to keep lost creek open. It's a great place to fish.

Just FYI, there isn't a fee being charged at Lost Creek. I've been there several times this year, and there's never been anyone there to collect money. In fact, a month or so ago, somebody moved the little shack off of the road. I was up there yesterday, and it was the busiest I've ever seen it. Several boats on the water.

The water is very low though, and it's dropping fast.
