in Lk St Clair a 48 pound 2 ounce musky was reeled in,
Question is will it be counted in michigans master angler program. because it was caught in canandian waters.

did you get it ? and is that this years record ? that boat rental place i used to use has a couple monsters mounted there , 50+ in weight .
i tried trolling for a big muskey around harsens and the channel a few years ago , ended up clearing the line from weeds more than i was fishing .
no luck on one here YET !LOL !

nope, it wasnt me....
the current record is 48.0 in the great lakes, in northern the current record is 49lb 12 ounce.
like I said on the fresh water board finding a registered scale that will handle a fish of that magnitude will take some doing, the scales in the local meet market only goes up to 6 pounds...
I sure would like to have that trophie under my belt

And here i figured you and pappy went out for another trip and got another patch .
the guy from harsens got his fish fishing a crawler off his dock . i wish i could find the pics i have of the mounts but there probably in a box somewhere in the attic .
I went to see how my motor was doing after 9 weeks in the shop , this time i wanted to see the motor . it was in the back , under a dirtbike covered in dust and rags, he never even started on it .
sometime soon i will be taking a trip to st.clare shores for a carberator rebuild kit , i know a shop down there that carries them . maybe i can work in a saturday of fishing down that way while i'm there .
