April 26. Fished the upper end of wilson this afternoon and caught 12 stripers up to 11 lbs. fishing shad on ballons and downrods. The fish hit best at sundown. April 27. Fished Wilson in the evening and caught 8 stripers up to 7 lbs. fishing shad on ballons and downrods. The wind was strong and made it tough to stay on the fish. We caught most of our fish in the Minooka park area from 12 to 25 feet.<br><br><br>
