Trolled Willard 8/22 from 6:00 am to noon. My son snagged a small cat by the tail. Other than that not even a bite. Moved to Mantua to get out of the wind. We caught blue gills non stop untill the wind and rain chased us off that lake too. However, the first fish from Mantua was an 18" rainbow. I caught all my fish on flies my son caught most of his on a small curly tail with no weight.The blue gills were good sized. My largest weighed 1 pound even.

How far is mantua from willard?

its about 20 minutes or so go north on freeway past willard bay then take the logan brigham exit go east thruogh the stop lights and go up the canyon its on the top of the hill on the right
