went to glassman pond a couple weeks ago caught some small trout on mepps spinners and a couple of gills on worm&bobber has anyone caught any catfish from there i heard dwr planted some but i havent seen any caught yet

I caught a couple a few weeks ago, didn't have much luck till it got dark theyn they started biting on chicken livers. just remember that it closes at ten. so you only get an hour or so of night fishing.

do the catfish in there have any size to them? and where is glassmans pond?

If I remember right.. It's practically at the new McKay Dee Hospital..

no not the pond on the fair ground next to the building. but it's in alot of a brush..

it's a bit south by south west of Smiths, and South east of McKay Dee hospital..

I never been there personally but I read some information books on how to get there.. and I think that's just about covering it..

I think Glassman's Pond is the one I used to refer to as 4th Pond when I was a kid. Spent many days swinging out of the trees there. Here's a map. The red + is on the pond. You can see Beaus' Pond to the right.

that looks like it im not sure of the street number but i just go on harrison blvd untill i see a square bld with greenish glass windows lots of them together its on the west side of harrison and i go to the lower parking lot by the trees and there is a trail all around the pond on the north side there is apeir like thing to fish from

Went to glassman this morning using worm and bobber caught a few nice gills at first,then tried a octopuss jig green in color tipped with worm and caught 3 18" cats,kept on gettin gill nimbles before I left,but before I did I put on a Double willow blade,chartrueese and white and caught a 17" largemouth,the fish are there cuz there were some big jumpers

The stocking report says it was stocked 3 times in August. 900 fish in all, a combo of channels and bulls. Looks like they're pretty decent sized too! 20-23 inch anverage.

Are there any other ponds in the area to fish? I notice a large pond east of the Olympic site, I think it is in a park.
Any fishing there? What kind of fish?
