Fished Jordanelle Thursday afternoon with Fishcrazy, from his boat. The wind made it tough to fish, but we managed to find a few coves where the wind wasn't too bad. Still, the wind made it tough to throw finesse baits.

Fishcrazy lost a big one on a spinnerbait that wrapped around something on the bottom, and for about 5 min. we found a hot spot that brought in some chunky bass. Other than that, we blamed our slow day on the wind.

Anyone else try to hit those afternoon winds up there?

How many you guys catch? I'm heading up there tomorrow morning. Going to try the Hailstone side and stick it out as long as possible. Hopefully the winds will not be a factor.

Not many. All we caught was 3 pr 4 fish. [blush]

If you can, try Rock Cliffs. I'm really curious how it is fishing now. Fishcrazy and I tried down there, and it was a whole new landscape. The water has dropped WAY down, and it was too shallow for the boat, especially with the wind.
