Wow,
There are 4 things that make this trip amasing! 1) It was just an afternoon "quicky" trip for 3 hrs. Boy, it's convenient. 2) It was from my tube with Sparky swimming all around me. 3) It was Pineview (not lake X), and 4) most incredible was it was the old "klutz", me. Oh, also it's late season.
Caught about 2 10", 2 12", 1 14", 4 15"!! and a 17" guy!!!!!! Wow again! [url "http://javascript:%20addTag(':)')/"][:)][/url] I know, you "big time" guys are saying big deal! Well, it's a big deal for me, especially at Pineview! LOL [url "http://javascript:%20addTag('crazy')/"][crazy][/url] Took some pics. but I don't have a digital so it will take awhile. Please excuse the pics. since I was alone and, well, I had no one to take em for me. Oh, forgot to mention, these were smallies.

While I'm excited that you are doing well up there.. it kills me because I know you are sworn to secrecy. By the way... That is seriously great that you are doing so well.

It seems like when I go to Pinview... I have two choices.. fish the narrows for all the 6 inch fish I can stand... or fish elsewhere and pray I don't get skunked... which so far this year.. every trip has been saved by one 8 or 10 inch smallie each time.

So..... with your expertise...and those of your sources... as well as some mercy on both your parties parts... is there a particular fork of the lake that you feel is more productive? I'm not asking for the secret spot... but are there some decent 2nd place area that you would be willing to share...or at least hint to? I'm really hunting Muskie, but a couple smallies while I'm hunting would be nice.

Well it sounds pretty good to me especially from a tube. And in just a few hours time. I like how you throw in that secret spot thing, just to keep us all thinking. It sounds like I should be going to pineview instead of Flaming Gorge.Thanks for the report Leaky. What did you catch those smallies on?

You know how to pull on the old "please" strings. LOL I know the feeling. I've often wondered about others "secret spots". Not a good feeling. I'll send you a pm. I'm too easy! Suggest in the future, you might consider doping the same. Don't worry secret spot giver, I won't tell em exactly where, just a general area.
