I also went yesterday and had about the same success as you. My sonar screen decided to give out and was only showing about 25 % of the pixels and depth was very difficult to figure out. Just worked the places I know but even that was difficult with the low water.

I talked to a biologist last year when I was fishing jordanelle in the fall and found some interesting information that may explain some of the slow down on the fishing. I guess the algae that dies off in the fall and is found thick right now neer shallow areas is mildly toxic to fish so when it starts to get thick in the water and die off the fish move into deeper water where they don't have to worry about the toxins from the algae. You will still find the fish in it, but there will be a lot fewer and when the water temps are really cold and the algae dies they really move out of the area until ice up and then they tend to move back in,

Hi guys, Took my son-in-law whos home on leave, (wifes having baby any day now) to Jordanelle. He doesn't fish much so I thought a nice bass or 2 would be nice. Well he didn't get any bass, but he did catch about 30 pearch. I picked up four nice smallies (he left his camera in the truck) and a real nice Bow. He went and got his camera while I was at the cleaning station. Scottie, we were having our best luck in 15 to 25 feet of water working the brush (trees) along the north shore line. Here are a couple of pics from the cleaning station.
