I'm heading up early Saturday morning. If you see someone in a red canoe it's probably me - say hello. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use?
I've heard a fly and bubble knock em dead but I didn't have any luck this way last time. But I bought some new flies to try out. Thanks for any suggestions.

Mill Hollow is a put and take reservoir stocked many times each year. The trout are eager to bite if you present something that looks like food to them. I have watched several people using a dry fly and a bobber fished the way you do at High Untiah lakes with very few takes. I use a woolly bugger and fish it under the surface as deep as 15' and will catch fish all day on from float tube. Keep the fly smaller than you would use at Strawberry or other larger lakes. I also do well up there with a Prince Nymph or a small leach pattern. Power Bait fished behind a clear bobber FULL of water works very well from the shore or from a boat. The only problem is that you hook the fish deep and releasing them can be a problem. I have also used Rooster Tail spinners with good success at M.H. When all else fails you can't go wrong fishing with night crawlers. I think that the dry fly doesn't work very well because you need to have the right fly in the right size and color for the hatch that is going on at the moment you are using it. Too many choices for still top water action to be consistent.
