ABIQUIU LAKE Anglers fishing the bluffs between the boat ramp and the dam, the Canones Creek area and the upper lake reported taking several small walleye and smallmouth bass and a few brown trout. They were trolling spinner/night crawler rigs and deep running crank baits. Liver, hot dogs and dough bait were the best baits for catfish.
BLUEWATER LAKE Fishing continues to be slow for all species.
BRAZOS RIVER Trout fishing was good for anglers using small bead head nymphs and small dry flies.
BURNS CANYON LAKE There were no reports from anglers this week.
CHAMA RIVER Water flow below El Vado Lake on Monday morning was 462cfs with fair-to-good trout fishing reported by anglers using small streamers, weighted bead head wooly buggers and night crawlers. Water flow was 457cfs below Abiquiu. Fishing was slow.
