We tried fishing this large pond last thursday in our tubes and toons. We didn't catch any thing only got two bites on spinners before we got blown off the water. My sonar picked up a lot of fish, but like I said, the wind kicked us off before we could find what the fish wanted.
Has anyone caught any fish there and what were they going after? I want to go back and try again with out the wind.

Most of the fish on the sonar were on the east side and holding between 25 to 32 feet also showed a lot of big ones. The wind was blowing to hard to stay in one place to get anything down to them.

I was there a month ago and slammed the brookies up to two pounds on a black wooly bugger. Didn't find any of the Colorados though.

Hey Kayote, Thanks for the info. Sounds like you had a good time there.
How deep were you fishing wooly bugger? I marked few fish above 23ft. How was the wind?
