HeLLooO every one
couple of buddies and I hit up the sport king. we were trying out new landings/boats b4 we can talk smack about them
well... when we go there the atmosphere was good..when we got on the boat every thing went bad. everyone was like..why is this boat so small, and there was no where to sit so we leaned on the rails, then the wind picked up and really made things a mess...as the boat jumped the waves (and i really mean jump) 1/3 of the passengers got sick.
as of the trip. everyone limited on Bonita and few sheephead. 1 10lb yellow caught by the crew.
got a 10$ refund because the water and conditions were to choppy
+ THERE were alteast 4 whales on the boat and they werent fishing
all they were doing was complaining about everyone ...they were just in everyones way...
helloOOo you do know your about 400lbs. why do you insist on wedging your self between things?
and if you know some one is casting bait or jigs MOVE OUT THE WAY instead of crying watch where you throwing that!
(that pissed me off the most ... not the fact the weather was bad .
it was due to the whales that were in everybody's way alll damn day

all in all another boat has been added to my list of not to go boats.

wont go near berth 55
sport king ( more like sport midget) -no . too many fat bishes on board
seaspray - 30/70 maybe
premier- i like the boat/crew but cant seem to fish when im on it...
i will just stick with 22nd st landing / pierpoint. the crews/boats will not disappoint you

Every boat has it wierd days..... to be fair, the Sport King does get it fair share of fish and who comes on board is a toss up and nobody can control that on certain criteria.

Sounds like a bad day in Brimstone! Did they give passengers $10 bucks back? They don't have to as you well know.

I'll bet the boat did not rotate. This makes some anglers who come early for a spot not willing to budge out of the spot they got up at 3am to always get. So..... I just can't imagine why they wouldn't get out of the way of someone casting jigs when they are livelining??????

I haven't been to Pierpoint landing yet but I have been to berth 55. It tends to be a little trendy at times. I do like 22nd Street though. The Capt and crew are great on the Pursuit 3/4 day and the Monte Carlo 1/2 day.

I went out of Channel Island Sportsfishing, aboard the Gentleman 3/4 day. We were going through 12 to 15 foot swells on Sunday. The Capt turned the boat around after 1/2 of the trip was expired.
Everyone was issued a voucher for a 1/2price fare for their next trip. That's pretty good considering it costs 47 bucks per 3/4 day fare.[cool]

2. fly lining was a bit hard yesterday.. windy
3. the bait was HUGE good 10 inch sardines..(tooo big if you ask me)
4. so i jigged on the side of the boat.
and if you ever seen the Sport King.. they have this isle in the middle for sitting and these cows that were aboard just pulled out chairs and sat there and they wouldnt move. and taking from what i saw yesterday. they seeem to be regulars that just take up space.
i was seriously bout to talk mad $#!t to them. when they kept complaining bout me not "watchin it" when i cast. really really wanted to hook one of them, just to prove a simple point..."GiT THE F### outta the way you Fat cow, im tryin to fish! and hookin one of you wont guarantee me jackpot.

i can still hear the crap they were sayin.. how i dont look or becareful, not like i hooked anyone or anything. i dont look cuz i want you to know im not carefull and want you To MOVE!
oh FYI they dont have enuff rod holders so you gotta lean them against something ..gay!!!!
and by the way the 10$ is a discount for next trip. due to the face we left early, sumthin bout not wanting to wait till the weather getting worse...cuz on the way to catalina we were jumpin waves like a wave runner. believe it or not that boat caught mad air.
couple of time we jump so high the engine shut off. kinda funny cuz the galley had a ceiling of only 5'10" and everyone standing got their heads bumped and everyone else just got tossed. how ever i was truly amazed by how the 4 cows didnt even know what was going on... like when the peeps were flying through the air they just stared at them thinkin ... why you jumping around?
FYI. bring a tag gun and harpoon when going on the Sport King just in case you dont catch fish. atleast you can go home saying you tagged and released a whale.
