It was such a nice day I thought I would take the boy out to the local pond to catch some LMB and some of what he and his sister call orange gills, since the orange stands out much more than the blue.

I was using maniacs, and the boy was using lipless cranks.
I was surprised to see the weeds already going down. The lack of sun in the last week, and the cooling water temps are making it nice.

We caught some largemouth, and some bluegill, and had a good time spending a couple hours on the water.

lipless crank. Actually rattlin rap in the emerald hologram color.
Wich by way of coincidence has been discontinued by rapala.
So, all you guys who like the holographic line by rapala need to get all you can now cause once they are gone, they are gone.

Seems rapala figures the holographic stuff has already been replaced by the glass finish stuff. So, whats out there is whats left, and thats it.

I know lots of guys like them for willard, but they work real well everywhere. Good colors. I wish they werent going away.
