Prep: 10 min, Marinate: 2:00, Cook: 10 min. [ul] [li]1 lb. carp fillets [li]1 clove garlic, minced [li]2 Tbs. orange juice [li]2 Tbs. soy sauce [li]1 Tbs. peanut oil [li]1 Tbs. ketchup [li]1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice [li]1/8 tsp. freshly grated ginger root [li]1/4 tsp. oregano [li]1/4 tsp. ground black pepper[/li][/ul]
Place fillets in a single layer in a saucepan. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over the fillets. Marinate for 2 hours. Drain and save the marinade for basting. Broil fish until cooked through, about 10 minutes, turning fillets over halfway through. Baste with reserved marinade as desired.
