Have any of you guys been out to Chatfield or Cherry Creek lately? I just talked to a buddy that has been fishing the around the dam areas in the evening and after dark and been catching 5 to 10 walleyes a night and 90% are keepers to 21 inches. He says they love the rocks in the fall.

I bet have over 200 hours logged in at Cherry Creek in the last four years night fishing. I have one 21" Walleye to show for? It's wierd though, I have caught a bunch of Bass there at night? I just can't figure that lake out?
I wish I lived as close to Chatfield as I do Cherry Creek! LOL.

He told me both, I guess he's been trolling small floating raps in 5 to 12 feet of water. The action was awesome around the harvest full moon, had two nights that produced 23 walleye and all were keepers except two. I think my lake has been just as active.
