Fished Echo on the I-80 side of the lake...hiked down from the truck stop. Not much action though, although I have never caught much here. I caught one rainbow about 12 inches on the bottom with bait and had one other very quick large bite and then it was gone. I was hoping to get a big bow or brown. No perch or catfish to be found. I also tried briefly by the dam area. Fish were jumping at dark and they looked to be little bass. So does anyone have any good spots or methods to get into some decent fish here? Maybe the bigger fish are just far and few between. See ya fishers.

i fished echo on sunday.. the fishing was awsome! i caught some nice bows most were about 16 inches and i got one that was about 19 or 20. i fish on the other sid of the lake by the dam. i used crawlers and caught some nice bows. no perch though i was surprised.

there is no rhyme or reason to echo anymore. with the water levels so volatile from year to year the last 3 years it has for all intensive purposes changed the lake on a daily matter. any spot i thought or new of is different now on the lake. good luck there its a matter of working the lake and finding where the fish went.
