well i was fishing both saturday and sunday night at the same time (5:00 pm ) til midnight a the first springs at lincoln beach..both night i swear atleast 40 walleyes were taken out of there each night..no hard to tell when youre fishing with 3 other guys..they didnt care to seem about sizes and bag limits. i kept 4 walleyes myself within 2 hours and stayed there til they left. they were pullin eye in left and right.saturday was a slow night but i knowfor sure that they took more than 10 fishes home..sunday iseen them again and i dont know if they caught any before when i was there...but i know that with the four of us there we caught more than 24 walleyes..4 went home with me and i know that those guys took way too many home...i didnt say anything cause its only me and like 3 of them..

Trust me, if you call the DWR with their license plate number and specific info about what they are doing wrong, they'll get a ticket.
You'll have to sign the ticket and maybe go to court. I haven't had to go to court yet since most people take a plea bargain and pay the fines.

next time you see that get to a phone and call the number on the back of your license. The cops usually show up pretty fast and they will keep it confidential anyway,

You can do it anonymously as well. Nothing requires you to tell them who you are, etc. Yes, they might need you to go to court, etc., but just the threat will stop 9/10 people. The DWR might contact them or show up, etc. That alone might solve the problem.

It is a
situation that has been in the papers and covered by many BFT'ers. They keep coming back. It is manpower, it is wrong and too bad they can't seem to get the proper punishment.

you bitch and moan about a problem, but you are not willing to do anything to stop it? What are you complaining about? Sounds like maybe you are part of the problem.
If you are witnessing blatant disregaurd for the law (poaching), yet you do nothing about it, I don't think you have any right to complain.
Some suggestions:
Call the DWR and find out the name of a CO, and get his phone number. Next time you are out fishing, and your buddies are taking more fish than they should be, walk up to your truck and make a phone call. Let the CO know it is currently happening, then go back and you can continue to fish. When the CO show's up, they are busted.
Complainers NEVER help fix a problem. They just complain. Quit complaing, and take a little action! Then, something might be done about the problem.
