Has anyone been by Steinaker in the last few days? Does it have ice on it yet. I've got four or five hours open on friday morning and I would love to hit one of my old hard water honey holes.

I went by Steinaker saturday. Half skim ice and half open. There were tubers out on it still. Even if it iced all the way over in the last couple days, I'd bet it's not safe ice yet. You could still get into Matt Warner this week and the fishing has been super hot for thick bows. Not sure how much snow will dump with this storm I see creeping over the hill right now. If it's bad MW will be out, but for now it's a hot ticket. You should try Pelican IMHO. Good luck
