ARE THERE ANY IN FLAMING GORGE DOES ANYONE KNOW? IF SO WERE WOULD BE THE PLACE TO NAIL THEM I WANT TO FISH THE GORGE THROU THE ICE THIS YEAR

I dont believe there is Perch in the Gorge, if there are the mack population is keeping them in check. If you want to fish the Gorge, you might want to go for the huge population of Bows they have. Also you might drag up a mack or two.

If you are going for bows and browns any location on the lake is good, just look for the usual areas of structure. Points and interior bays.

There are perch in the gorge. Just enough to show up in gill nets once in a while. There certainly isn't what I would call a catchable population. Macs, rainbows, and browns are the primary ice targets. Fish in the old river channel between 70 and 120 feet of water for the big boys. Generally the bows and browns are found in less than 40 feet of water, but don't go after them with your light tackle, I've herd of 40lb fish coming out of 18 feet of water.
