Hit the Berry this afternoon. Fished from 2:00 to about 5:00. Started off on fire, had 4 on the deck in the first 5 minutes. Finished the day with around 10 fish and at least that many failed hook-ups, all 17"-19" cuts. Several fish came through on the finder, but only about half hit the jig. The bite was very light, and they hit several different jigs, tipped with several different baits. Ice was only about 5" by the marina, mr. marina manager said over about 100-200 yards the ice is questionable, however a group was fishing Haws, don't know if they made the trek across the bay or snowmobiled over there. Could see some open water in the main channel just outside the bay. Didn't see anyone venture out over 100 yards from shore. Road to marina was snowpacked and slippery. No lunkers, but a great day on the ice.
