I am making a trip to Palm Desert area and am looking for some close fishing opportunities to hook warm water and cold water species.

Well unless you go up into the mountains there isn't much fishing going on in the valley. One exception is over at Whitewater located off of the I-10 freeway. i.e.[/size][/#005000][/font]
