Hey, was anybody on the Rockport today? It would be nice to get the most current update possible. There's going to be a bunch of people trying it on for size in the morning and it would be nice to give everyone a heads up if it is dangerous. I don't want anyone to go through the heartache of losing a loved one if it can be avoided. Thanks in advance for any new info.

Yes sir it would be nice to know? I was going to go up to today with fishfearme2 but it didn't work out. We are thinking of going up Sunday unless we hear from the gang the ice is shot, if not we will let you know whether or not to bother.

[cool]I think about all you can do is go back and read yesterday's threads on Rockport and the day before. It might require a few minutes and effort on your part, but that is the most current info that we have. If in doubt, don't be the first one on the ice tomorrow. Wait for someone else to risk it, and look at his size. For example, if he's a little guy and weighs something like 130 and you weigh 220, you might want to wait for someone bigger to chance it. Good luck, and use your head out there.

That's why it's always nice to have a little fresh snow. If there are tracks going out and none coming back it may not be a good time to go fishing. I'm going to go at least check it out in the morning, early. Thanks for your concern. I was hoping maybe someone had been there today.
