[cool]We went to Rockport today and the conditions were about the same as last Sunday. We were able to walk right out from the State park ramp onto the ice with no board. The ice was about the same, 4-5 inches, and the fishing was great out about 50 feet deep for the perch. We caught more trout in more shallow water than in the deeper water, but who wants them anyway! We used the kastmaster with the dropper foxie, yellow in color. perch eye was the key, however, we caught them with mealworms also. Take ice cleats as the surface is still slick. Dont want any of you to get a bump on your noggin! We will be back on the ice on Sunday, so I hope to see you all out on the lake. Good luck and have a great time in the outdoors! BFC out!

Thanks for the report, BFC. It's good to know the ice is still holding up. Thanks also for the reminder about bringing ice cleats.
