[mad] any fisherman out there has there own frustrations when it comes to fishing mine------ well there's alot of them like why is it the least experienced person always catches the biggest fish? and the person sleeping in a chair with their pole between their legs always catches the most? i tell ya im sick of it, someone should reach out to the fish god and ask him to change the rules to benefit the o so loyal fisherman who freezes his cohoneys off standing in the rain for two hours hoping to catch the fish of all fish. to me that just seams fair. hopefully im not the only one with these problems-- that would suck!!!!

I haven't had that problem![sly] maybe your not holding your mouth the right way. Just kidding! [mad]That is always the way it goes or at least it seems that way. Don't feel like the lone ranger here, the screw ball that sits in his lawn chair on the shore ,usually catches the big fish. And the guy that sits on his but on the side of the road takes the monster buck, its almost never the guy that hikes all over Gods green earth for a week, that gets the big one. Join the crowd maybe some day the bountiful harvest will come to those that actually work for it. Good luck and good fishing! [

Ever since getting a big boat and starting to take many many people fishing - I've found that some people just have the knack - they can be jerking their pole, not watching their line and bang - fish on.
I've fished with kids that could out fish any adult on the boat without even trying.
I've also fished with adults that couldn't get a bite if they were using the same lure that was catching every fish in the boat. Or they might just hook a couple of the little ones.
Now that I have "put in the time" on the water - I've learned that you always need to keep learning - each species and body of water has it's unique techniques that work better at certain times and you have got to get multiple techniques that work when one isn't producing,
Two years ago I discovered a little crank bait that was a Walleye slayer. I thought I had found the bonanza of lures - then last year I happened onto a lure that was twice as good and hasn't let me down. Now I have a one-two punch. Watch all those pro-boys and they have 5 rods laying on the bow for a reason - variety
I guess I'm just trying to say - hang in there - your day will come.
Remember that each new endeavor requires investments in time, $$, and dues. And with fishing it is worth every bit on it.
Good Luck on the water..

Hey 'bucket...
I too have found that the older I get and the more I think I know about catch'n fish- the easier it is for MommaBaruu to out fish me and she doesn't know her "woolly booger" from her "rat finkee"...
I guess It's just natures way of letting us all know that she's still in charge and has a sense of humor-
Keep a
handy and enjoy the ride... PB
