This bulletin just crossed my desk here at work today [pirate] that may be of interest. I will be out of town for this event, but I went to their program last spring and found it to be quite informative. I was able to talk one-to-one with the lead project biologist for about 20 minutes, and they even gave me a book on Utah lake for free. Plus this time.. free food! Based on the 50 post threads we had on this subject, there is some interest here. Good luck this weekend on the fishing.
The June Sucker Recovery Implementation Program would like
to invite you and your family to attend a press event on Wednesday, February
23, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to unveil a new exhibit at Utah Lake State Park
that they have installed with the Utah Division of Parks & Recreation. In
addition to the press event we will be holding a community fish fry and have
some other fun activities in order to promote awareness and understanding of
Utah Lake, the June Sucker and what the Recovery Program is doing. Admission is free.
