I've leaving in about 15 mins to take my kids (2-10) to chase some perch for a fish fry. Anyone have some pointers for location in the evening? I know what gear to use, general depths, etc., just curious how it's fished in the evening, etc. Thinking of going on the west side off one of the outhouses. Also, how thick is the ice? My wife is going and will want to know before we go. Also, what is the ice like on top? snow, slick, etc? Boat ramp the easiest access to the lake? (but you still pay right?)
