Sorry for the late report but I don't have access to the internet except at work. We hit the Berry Thursday morning (7:00am) at -8 degrees. You talk about a cold snowmobile ride back to the renegade area. We fished just north of Indian Creek in 35 feet of water and caught 14 between the three of us in the first hour on the ice. We moved over to the point just south of where you turn up to go to the narrows and caught quite a few more. When things slowed we returned to our original spot and finished the rest of the day there. We came off the ice at 6:00pm. We caught over 100 fish between the three of us. All fish were in the slot and all were caught between 32 feet and 45 feet deep. White and green boogers w/mealworm or wax worm worked well. When the fish got picky about the worms, tipping your jig with a piece of shiner would get you back into the fish.

Friday mornings weather was a different story. The clouds moved in to keep it warm but the wind was blowing pretty hard. We started in the same place and did real well most of the day in that spot. We did move over and finish in the other spot. We had two more people join our group and we caught close to 130 fish between the five of us. Same methods as Thursday. It started snowing on us about 1:00 Friday afternoon and snowed about a foot Friday night.

All in all it was a great two days on the Berry. By far my best trip ever. No car problems, no sled problems, no slush, plenty of fish and great company. Doesn't get any better than that.
Sounds like it was a sweet trip! Did you end up catching any bows?
