Me directions are crude but they will get you there: Head south on I-15 to the south nephi exit (3rd exit) get off freeway, take a left pass under the freeway. Keep on road till you get to levan, Turn laft on main street levan. Stay on road, it will take you through fayette adn then gunnison, still stay on road it will take you through axtel, there is a road that cuts off to your right about 3-5 miles south of axtel, take this road, this will lead you to redmond. Turn right (west) on 1st south, follow road to fork, take left fork this will run right by redmond rez.

Or take I-15 south to scippio exit, get off freeway take a left. When you come to the fork take the right hand fork, Stay on this road till you get to salina, go down salina's main street till you get to the flashing light, make a left at the light, stay on that road for about 10 blocks, the road will start to take a right hadn turn, you want to turn left there, this will put you on the road to redmond, turn west on 1st south go to fork, take another left, you should be by the water.

I would like to know more about this Redmond. How big is the lake, How deep average? Is it a tubing thing or will a 19' I/o be better. Are there other fish besides pike? Is there structure and an island or is it a shallow bowl with a center channel.

A 19' I/O would probably be too large of a boat for Redmond. The lake is large enough to handle one, but I was advised not to take my 18' boat because there are so many shallow places.

I have been out on redmond in a 14ft aluminum,I would not advise you to take that big of boat on there,3/4 of the lake is less than two ft deep,The north and northwest corner is the deepest.and the lake is spring feed in the NW corner, there is a channel near the center island that goes to the south end until you see a piont coming out on the west shorline, then the water drops to less than a foot, with clumps off the bottom just under the surface, very hazards.the whole east side is shallow from the piont on the north end of the island.so if you due take it out.stick to the north end and watch the fishfiders depth alot.

A kid in centerfield has done well on white spinner baits 1/2 oz.cast down the bank,he walks the dike on the east side keying in on the rocks.he has caught pike and LM bass on that lure.

later,FNF
