[cool]Went to Lake Mead friday to meet up with a couple of fishing buddies from Calif. and to spend the night out there. I got there at noon and was fishing in the rain by 12:30 pm. Dale and Paul were already there(at Hemenway) and casting when I arrived. In our waders and rain jackets, we assaulted the water with swimbaits. The first fish was finally caught at 3:30 pm by yours truely; a nice 7.5 lber. The next one was at late evening, a 3 lber also by me. The very next cast I hook and land, after a real nice fight, a fat 11 lber. Paul was next on the hit parade with a 3 lber about twenty minutes later. We had the cooking cabana set up and the bait rods set for the night. We got nada thru the night.(We were pretty tired so we wouldn't have known it if the rods did go off.) 5:30 am came quick and we were at it again. However this time we were hooking up on a great bait(anchovie) bite. It was almost nonstop for about an hour when it began to slow down. All fish caught, 6 or 7 by Dale, 2 by myself, and 3 or 4 by Paul, weighed between 2lbs2oz an 2lbs11oz. All told, 11 fish caught that morning/afternoon in addition to the four caught friday evening. I got pictures with a disposable 35mm camera, so I got to get them developed. I'll post them ASAP.
