What’s your target fish? Shore fishing Mead, can be tough at times. Not only are the fish sometimes finicky but the locations to get to the water can be a problem. Mead has limited shore accesses but all can be productive at their own times. By April the LMB should have started moving up to get ready for spawning but even with this, they can be tough to sneak up on them. Stripers are always on the move and shore fishing with anchovies could get you a few. Catfish do well on anchovies, worms, and some say chicken liver.
