I fly fished the Weber river Wednesday afternoon near Croyden. The river was in good shape and still fairly clear. I caught and released around 20 browns....13-15 inchers during a nice blue winged olive hatch. Could also see tons of whitefish on the bottom of the river, but I'm not much into nymph fishing. Great day!! see ya Please pick up your trash if you go out...thanks!

[cool]Careful, dude. Your gonna piss off the UOTF folks that lurk over here for giving away their spot and favorite flies.[Tongue] j/k. Congrats on your fun excursion on the Weber. I might have to get out the 'ole Orvis and waders and actually fly fish again this year. Thanks for the report!

Sounds like a blast! I used to flyfish there alot. I used to go just downstream from the bridge that goes to the cement factory. It is all posted now. Sounds like you found a nice spot.

UTOF...hmmm....that site makes me mad... why they have to act all secretive about everything. I belong to it.....but why hide details.... its's not like we can all hit the same spot the same day anyway. I think we should all share our stories, as long as all the fish don't get harvested. I hate all that "send me a private email," crap on that site.

The ole Orvis! I didn't know that anyone over here could afford one of those, let alone know what one was! [Wink]
I'm looking forward to hitting the Green with my sons and our lesser known "rods" next month. We should have a get together up there sometime. The Green is one of my favorite fishing spots and I can't wait to get back up there.DKS.
