Well with all the Walleye posts I gave her heck last week and all I can say is it was tough. It took me four trips to even land a fish let alone a Walleye ( I know, pathetic). I tried evey where from Lincoln beach, sandy beach, Provo, Lindon and A.F boat harbours. I finally caught 2 Walleyes 26 and 18"'s and a bonus Channel cat that was a 24"er. They where all caught within a few hours from each other and then nada. I wish I could post pics but don't have the technology. Any ways good fishin and good luck, Later.

Thats good to hear that somebody caught some eyes'. What part of the lake were you fishing at when you caught the fish? I'll have to go give her heck if it warms up again. Do you Bft'ers think that this cold front will shut the walleyes down should I just fish close to the warmsprings? Thanks for the report utlaker[

Thanks for the info tubedude, I guess I'll have to head down this week and give it a shot. I can't do any worse than my last trip, right?(0 walleyes, 1 carp) If I go down I'll give you guys a report, I can take the cold but I just don't like the wind. I need to dust off my tube and take it down there! If only I could get off work early enough.

Icicles? I thought those were body parts[blush]
Yuppers, (how long has it been since you've heard that?) them thar Walleye turn on in the wind from my funnin with them too. I love fishing off the Rabbit Gultch point when the "W" kicks up on Starvation. The eye's line up in a row just inside the mud line and ambush just about anything passing just outside or along the mud line. Nice way to finish off a limit before heading home for a fresh fishy dinner.
When I first started fishing for them quite a few years ago, I read up on what I could find in Western Walleye fishing. Not easy to find a lot of material for Walleye East of the Great Lakes area. All of the "experts" at the time seemed to agree with the rocky shoreline in the wind theory. It was at least a noteworthy mention in all of the books and articles I read.
