I think this wet is a very good thing now the lakes will fill with water and with the snow pack, it will keep the water flowing for part of the summer.

Besides all of the good lake filling features the rain has kept me TRAPPED in my office for two days so I could spend hours and hours on BFT![Tongue]

[cool]Eubank tonight on the ch.5 news said that Deer Creek is now only 10 feet from full, and the spring runoff hasn't even started yet. Good news. It will definitely fill this year.

It defenitely is good news bassrods. I really think we'll put a big dent in the water supply this year. I'd bet the nelle will actually spill this year.

Watched the news last night and they said after these storms are done Alta will have gained 100 inches of snow since last saturday.

Lower elevation lakes are going to be full this year.

SWEEEEET!

Pineview will be up more this year which is great because of all the cover that was above water last year.

The good thing is that Utah lake will get a lot of water this year it might even fill for the first time in years, just think of all the new cover that has grown up.

I haven’t been down to Powell since last fall when we flew all around the lake. My student couldn’t believe all of the high and dry areas. Most of those areas are growing brush like crazy. When the lake does re-fill the fish will have a lot of new habitat.

You should come for spring brake on the 4-9. as of now I have room in my boat.

I’m actually trying to pull that off. Me and my flying/fishing buddy would probably fly down and stay two days max. We would be able to bring one more with us in the plane too. 90 minute flight always beats a 5 hr drive. If we can make it work I’ll certainly post up on the spring break thread and offer to haul another passenger (and limited gear) with us.

Actually, the lake level is more like 6 feet from the high water mark.

Hey guyss don't get your hopes up. And Mr Snowbank is full of it. Wishful thinking on his part about Deer Creek. 15 to 20 feet from being full, and thats a LOT of water. They are holding water in DC because of the construction on 189. When they get all the pilelins in place they will start letting the water out again and bring the Provo back to normal flows. But it sure is nice to see the flats under water again. Now the lil fries will have a place to hide and grow. Maybe it will fill this year and maybe not, one can only hope.
