The ASSident
This story was told to me by a very good friend and his wife. One day they were looking for something to do so they decided to take a drive into the mountains. On the way, they stopped at one of those little places that sells gas and also has other interesting things to do for a price. Well, this place had a small pond filled with carp. And for a price you could fish for them just for the fun of it. The Mrs. decided she would like to make a game of it, so she made a bet with her husband that she would catch the first fish. It wasn't long before she did just that. As she was fighting the large fish, her husband noticed that there was something funny about the way the fish was swimming and he told her so. She said there was nothing wrong and that he was just jealous. She proceeded to pull the fish from the water and when she did, they noticed the fish was hooked in the butt. That, in itself was a bit unusual, but when they looked closer they discovered that the fish had been caught so many times, and had broken so many lines that it had passed those lines right through it's body and out it's anus. She had snagged that fish in one of those lines hanging out of it's butt and it was dangling there, upside down from her pole. Well, after they laughed for awhile, she said to him, 'Well, I won the bet!' He said to her, 'Maybe so, but that was just an ASSident'.
