Fishing Forum

I fished Chatfield for a couple of hrs today near the dam. I was out there from 2:30 to 4:00. The water temp was 49 to 51 degrees. I was throwing a jig( picture attached) in 10' of water. I caught 3 male walleye shorts in that time. The wind really kicked up and I headed for the barn. it was a good day on the water.

The fishing last Saturday was good in the am. Good fishing unfortunatly I have to work. Just like any spring season if we could put a string of warm days back to back we would see conditions improve.

I have never fished chatfield, What type of fish are in the reservoir?
